Elam, who is in the Department of Human Nutrition & Food Science, was nominated by cross country and track athlete Christian Rodriguez.
Earle, who is from the Department of Animal & Veterinary Sciences, was nominated by soccer player Emily Sanchez.
Cal Poly Pomona Athletics organizes the annual recognition event and asks its athletes to nominate instructors.
