Students Help Beautify Arabian Horse Center

College of Agriculture News

Forty College of Agriculture students spent part of a Saturday giving back to the campus community by helping to beautify the W.K. Arabian Horse Center.

The students' work included handling odd jobs around the stables, focusing on the stalls.

"The amount of work completed in a short period of time is very impressive, and certainly made a big impact on the operation – both aesthetically and functionally," says Jéanne Brooks Abernathy, the center’s new director. "On a working farm, these tasks go beyond beautification. They assist in assuring the health and happiness of our herd."

The Nov. 14 work day was a quarterly project organized by the Ag Council.
