Poly Pack is now available for the general public to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the Cal Poly Pomona farm!
The community-supported agriculture program, which was started in August by the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture for the campus community, is expanding its operations. Shoppers can sign up on a new website to buy a full or half pack of Cal Poly Pomona produce every two weeks. Depending on the season and supply, the produce will include avocados, peppers, oranges, grapefruits, butter lettuce, corn, watermelon, squash, tomatoes, flowers, or herbs.
Full packs are $25; half packs are $15. Pickup is every two weeks on the University Quad. Alternative arrangements can be made to pick up packs at AGRIscapes, 4102 S. University Drive, Pomona. Shoppers can pay with cash, check or with a credit card.
