Tickets on Sale for Spring Harvest Farm to Table Dinner

Main entrees from the 2016 Spring Harvest Dinner

Enjoy a special night under the stars, featuring a unique dining experience from outstanding local chefs that includes farm-fresh produce grown by Cal Poly Pomona students and California wines selected to pair perfectly with the meal.

Tickets are now on sale for the Third Annual Spring Harvest Farm to Table Dinner at Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday, April 22.

The event, which is organized by the Huntley College of Agriculture at Cal Poly Pomona, showcases the best of what Southern California has to offer in farming and cooking. This year’s chefs are

  • Chris Gendreau of Chase’s in Old Town La Verne
  • Travis Flood of Pappas Artisanal in La Verne
  • Arnold Zavalza of Cal Poly Pomona’s Los Olivos Dining Commons.

The college also will present the Jim Hicks Agricultural Achievement Award at the event to an individual or individuals for his or her accomplishments in the agriculture industry.

The award is named after Jim Hicks, a businessman and longtime supporter of agricultural education who was its first recipient in 2015.

The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the AGRIscapes Center near the university’s Farm Store, 4102 S. University Drive.
