Theatre & New Dance Production Invited to Regional Festival

Intimate Apparel Production

Intimate Apparel - 2017

"Intimate Apparel” is one of six selected productions invited to perform at The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) Region 8 Festival in February 2018.

Out of dozens of colleges and universities from Southern California and four neighboring states, the Cal Poly Pomona Department of Theatre & New Dance’s production of “Intimate Apparel” is one of a select few productions chosen to perform at the festival, which is staged Mesa Community College in Mesa, AZ.

If the judges in Arizona like what they see, “Intimate Apparel” could be selected to represent Region 8 at KCACTF’s National Festival in April 2018.

While the CPP Department of Theatre & New Dance has been invited to bring scenes of plays to the festival in years past, the last full production it brought to the festival was Harold Pinter’s “Betrayal” in 2010.
