The department introduces the inaugural issue of the Undergraduate Journal of Political Science

Undergraduate Journal - First CoverThe Department of Political Science is proud to introduce the inaugural issues showcasing the research and work of our undergraduate students. The California State Polytechnic University, Pomona Undergraduate Journal of Political Science is our department's scholarly research journal, providing peer-reviewed articles and essays from subfields throughout the discipline. Areas covered include American politics, public administration, international relations, comparative politics, public law and political theory.

The Undergraduate Journal of Political Science is a student-run journal. The inaugural issue's editor-in-chief is Tara Kwan, but the editoral board is also comprised of upperclassmen who have read and selected the articles presented in the inaugural issue. The inaugural issue contains nine manuscripts. These manuscripts have been written in political science courses, including our senior capstone.

The journal will continue to accept submissions in the 2016-2017 school year. Submissions are open to all Cal Poly Pomona students, as long as the content covers politics.
