Applying for Admission

Transfer applicants are encouraged to explore academic programs in our University Catalog.

Apply online by November 30th

CSU initial filing period is open! October 1, 2017 – November 30, 2017 for Fall 2018 admissions. Once your application is submitted, an email notification will be sent to your specified email.

Cal Poly Pomona makes admission decisions based on self-reported information from the application!
It is important that coursework, including grades, are entered accurately and completely. Provisionally admitted students who intend to enroll at Cal Poly Pomona will be required to submit an official transcript to verify eligibility. Admission decisions may be withdrawn for students who misreport academic information or who have not met terms of the admission offer.

All changes/requests to the Fall 2018 application must be made before December 15, 2017.

Submit transcripts or other documents only when requested

Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an email with further instructions.

Please do not send your transcripts before your Spring term is complete, unless requested.

Pay the application fee

Your application, whether paper or electronic, and a $55 filing fee (or fee waiver request) must be submitted with the application. Instructions for payment can be found on Cal State Apply.
