Tools for Advisors
Every department and program has a curriculum sheet and a roadmap. The curriculum sheet shows what degree requirements must be met in order to achieve the student’s desired degree. The roadmaps are a four-year plan to guide students on which classes to take in a specific sequence in order to complete their desired degree. This sequence tends to account for pre-requisites and class offerings. Both of these tools are useful when advising students on how to navigate their time here at CPP as well as for students who are contemplating to change their majors.
My Planner is a tool located directly in BroncoDirect/PeopleSoft that will help students develop a plan toward degree completion. The tool is easy to navigate and advisors are able to edit student’s plans as well as provide notes and comments regarding the plan.
The GPA Calculator tool is a service that Advisors can use to determine a student’s grade point balance. This is particularly useful when students are Disqualified as this will show how far away a student is from achieving the desired GPA. The GPA calculator also allows the student to see how their GPA will change if they use Grade Forgiveness.
