Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jennifer Joslin

Jennifer Joslin

Dr. Jennifer Joslin is a Past President of NACADA and the current Associate Director for Content Development at the NACADA Executive Office. Jennifer is co-editor, with Pat Folsom and Frank Yoder, of the 2015 book, The New Academic Advisor Guidebook: Creating a Foundation for Success, and with Dr. Nancy Markee, of the 2011 book, Academic Advising Administration: Essential Knowledge and Skills for the 21st Century.

Jennifer has presented at regional, national, and international advising conferences, consulted at institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, and presented webinars for NACADA on the topics of the Completion Agenda (2), social media, advising LGBTQA students, and advising administration. She is a proud member of the Jane Austen Society of North America. Jennifer earned her master and doctorate degrees from the University of Iowa in 2002 and her undergraduate degree from Occidental College in Eagle Rock, CA.
