College Advising and Pre-professional Advising Information
The University has a collaborative advising structure between College Staff Advisors and Faculty Advisors. All students have access to both College Staff Advisors through Advising Centers or Areas as well as Faculty Advisors. Each college determines how its students are assigned to advisors and what services the Advising Center or Area performs. Specific faculty offer Pre-professional Advising in Law through the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and in Medicine through the College of Science. New and Continuing Students
If you are a First-time Freshman, Transfer student, or a returning student, there are many tools, resources, and programs that can assist you in the transition to Cal Poly Pomona.
