Urban and Regional Planning Chapter
President: Paul Kuykendall, '94 URP
The Urban and Regional Planning Alumni Chapter is dedicated to strengthening the connections between URP alumni and the entire URP community. Chartered in 1994, the chapter was formed to assist alumni in furthering their personal and professional, growth and development.
The department seeks the ongoing involvement of alumni. There are many opportunities to get involved, from the Professor for a Day program, to mentoring students, to advising us on ways to improve our curriculum. The Urban and Regional Planning Alumni Chapter is certified and active.
Currently, the Urban and Regional Planning Alumni Chapter is accepting nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer
Chapter leadership is the key to success. Strong and innovative leadership will contribute to the success of your chapter’s activities. The Alumni Assistant Director will consult and provide advice on various programs; however the chapter's ability to manage its own affairs is one measure of its effectiveness.
President: The president will be the head of the club; preside at all business meetings; make committee appointments; and be an ex-officio member of all committees. Traditionally, the president will serve as the master of ceremonies at club events and programs.
Vice President: The vice president assumes the duties of the president in his or her absence. This office can also serve as the president-elect.
Secretary: The Secretary records all actions occurring at meetings and transcribes the minutes. Copies of the minutes are provided in a timely fashion to the Office of Alumni Affairs.
