Army Study Guide: A job and resource bank for active military and veterans. Includes information on educational benefits

California Department of Veterans Affairs: Lists employers in the state of California who have expressed specific interest in recruiting veterans. Also, provides job listings for the State of California

G.I. Jobs: Provides resources for post-military personnel, including career tips, resume pointers, wardrobe advice, educational resources and informational interviews with corporate recruiters

MilitaryHire.com: A job bank developed and is maintained by a team of both military veterans and corporate hiring authorities

Troops to Teachers: A U.S. Department of Education and Department of Defense program that helps eligible military personnel begin a new career as teachers in public schools

VA for Vets: Provides career support program for veterans centered on assisting vets to launch or develop their civilian careers within the Veteran's Administration. Also, includes a military skills translator that translates military skills into civilian language

Veterans Employment Center for Job Seekers: Job listings, job fairs, skills translator and resume builder

Vet Jobs: The leading Internet niche job board for active duty, reservists and veterans

The Veteran Labor Force in Recovery: A Department of Labor report, providing information on veteran demographics, legislation and training programs

Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Rights Act (USERRA): Protects the job rights of individuals who voluntarily or involuntarily leave employment positions to undertake military service or certain types of service in the National Disaster Medical System. USERRA also prohibits employers from discriminating against past and present members of the uniformed services, and applicants to the uniformed services

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Center Program: Provides a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to eligible veterans to help veterans make a successful transition from military to civilian life

Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS): Serves America's veterans and separating service members by preparing them for meaningful careers, providing employment resources and expertise, and protecting their employment rights.
