This certificate is great for the non-GIS specialist who wants to expand their understanding and skills in GIS. Each course builds on the previous so you gain a solid understanding of GIS, ArcGIS software, and conversion between formats of spatial data. 

Topics covered include database and data development, integration of web-based data sources, data merging and overlay analysis, as well as raster and vector data processing and 3D visualization. The program consists of four one-day courses; each is taught every other Saturday in our state-of-the-art GIS training facility. Students who complete all courses will satisfy the requirements for the GIS certificate.
