The Portfolio Management Professional certificate verifies one's advanced skills and expertise in managing an organization’s capital advancement. Portfolio managers will learn the tools needed to create strategic initiatives that will benefit their organizations and ensure an exceptional return on investment.

The Portfolio Management course is entirely online and is available to access at any time that is convenient to the participant.  

Who Should Enroll?

This course is for executive or senior-level managers who manage portfolio projects for an organization. 

Prerequisites: The participant must have a bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent and three years of specific experience in Project Portfolio Management. Individuals with an associate's degree or high school diploma must have at least five years of Project Portfolio Management experience.

Instructor

Paul Wyrick, MBA

Paul Wyrick is a Project Portfolio Management leader with over a decade of experience in the areas of demand management and resource capacity management. In addition, he has over 15 years of project oversight at all levels of the project lifecycle and brings a high level of expertise in the areas of project costing, strategic planning, and capital and operational budget planning. He has managed various projects, programs, and products in non-profit organizations as well as healthcare, mortgage, commercial software, public utilities, and manufacturing industries. He has an MBA from Pepperdine University, a BS in Computer Science from Cal State Fullerton, and is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Specialties: Project Portfolio Management, Program Management, Project Management, Resource Capacity Management, Microsoft Project Server, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Prosight.
