Master of Science in Economics Curriculum

Depending on the student's choice of capstone experience, the degree requires a minimum of 10 courses. For the capstone, students have to take a research project and optional to write a thesis. The degree requires a total of 45 units. For successful completion of the research project or thesis, the student is awarded eight or five units respectively. This means that 10 additional courses are required. Every student is required to take four “core” courses, two field specialization courses from their degree option, and 6 “elective” courses, which can be chosen by the student to suit her/his interest. However, even the “elective” courses must be chosen according to the rules of the program.
