Shilpa Davé (Ph.D University of Michigan)
DR. SHILPA DAVé is the Associate Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences and Assistant Professor of media and American studies at University of Virginia. She researches and teaches about representation of race and gender in the media and popular culture, American cultural narratives of immigration and border crossings, comparative American studies including Asian American and South Asian American Studies, and film, television, and literary studies. Her book, Indian Accents: Brown Voice and Racial Performance in American Television and Film, 2013; focuses on representations of South Asians in American film and television.
Robert Ku (Ph.D Graduate Center of the City University of New York)
DR. ROBERT JI-SONG KU is an Associate Professor of Asian and Asian American Studies at Binghamton University. Previously, he chaired the Department of Ethnic Studies at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and directed the Asian American Studies Program at Hunter College of the City University of New York. His research interests include Asian-American studies, twentieth century American literature and culture, food studies, and studies of ethnographic display. His books include: Dubious Gastronomy: The Cultural Politics of Eating Asian in the USA, 2013; and Eating Asian America: A Food Studies Reader, 2013.

Imada is active in the community and serves on several different community boards including Advertising Educational Foundation and Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce & Entrepreneurship.
