Scott Meyer: Principal Systems Engineer, Proofpoint Inc.

Scott is a 25 year IT veteran who works as one of Proofpoint’s lead Principal System Engineers. In his current role, Scott works with State & Local government and Education customers across the Western United States to implement advanced security solutions.

Prior to his current role, Scott has been a Technical Solution Architect from software development, to Data Center architecture, to Voice / Collaboration solutions, and designing network infrastructures. In these areas, Scott has worked with some of the world’s largest service providers, enterprise, commercial, education customers, as well as some of the largest resellers within the IT industry. Scott holds numerous industry certifications and speaks regularly at large events covering deep technical topics to large scale architecture discussions. Scott holds both a B.S. degree in Computer Science & Mathematics, as well as an M.S. in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering.

Ahmed Saleh: Global Incident Response & Proactive Services Lead, IBM X-Force Security Services

During his nearly 15 year career in technology and security, Ahmed has helped many organizations prevent, detect and respond to some of the most complex cyber security attacks. At IBM Security, Ahmed is responsible for leading teams working on Incident Response and Proactive Security Services across the globe. Prior to joining IBM, Ahmed has held prominent roles at Disney, NASA, the U.S. Air Force and Mandiant. In these roles he honed his skills and developed a deep interest for incident response, intrusion and forensic investigations, cyber threat analysis and security risk management. Ahmed holds a B.S.E. in Computer Systems Engineering and a M.S. in Computer Science.

Salem Neino: CEO Kryptos Logic

Salim Neino is the Founder and CEO of Kryptos Logic, a Cyber Security company based in Los Angeles, California since 2008. Mr. Neino is an information security specialist with an emphasis in vulnerability and exploitation research, software mitigation, threat intelligence, and cyber program management. Mr. Neino has been involved in numerous facets of cybersecurity, including leading red teams for penetration testing, creating defensive programs and threat intelligence platforms for Global 100 organizations and creating attack and defense frameworks for threat-intelligence. He is credited discovering new mitigations and resolving vulnerabilities for security vendors such as IBM, Dell, Microsoft and Avaya.
