Call for Supporters
Join us in celebrating our 13th annual Cyber Security and Awareness Fair on October 31st, 2017 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Our event reaches out to a market of nearly 26,000 Cal Poly Pomona students and includes a new partnership with Fullerton, Coastline and Chaffey colleges. In addition, we also reach out to local high schools and the surrounding community.
The global cost of cybercrime is estimated to reach two trillion dollars by 2019. We are asking for your help in addressing this problem by raising cyber security awareness. We kindly ask for your support of our mission through donations, exhibits and presentations.
This year’s theme is Alice in Cyberland and our focus revolves around malicious entities taking advantage of the innocent via social engineering and phishing campaigns. These targeted attacks can have devastating effects from the result in bank fraud, stolen identities, blackmail or worse. With your help in bringing these issues to light, we can educate consumers from becoming victims of these malicious schemes. Promotional benefits of participating in this year’s event will be a personal introduction of your company with staff, faculty and students that will soon be influential buyers. Donor levels can be found on the Donor pack attached.
We are proud to be holding our third annual Cyber Security & Forensics Research Poster Competition which welcomes active participation from all majors. This event is sponsored by ISACA Los Angeles Chapter for students in the Southern California region with $1,000 in prizes.
Your support makes it possible for us to continue providing outstanding educational opportunities for our students. We hope that your organization can be an integral part of this educational community event. If you have any questions, please contact me for further information.
