Mobility Assistance - Meet MAC!
DRC’s Mobility Assistance Cart (MAC) provides intra-campus cart service for eligible students, faculty, and staff with mobility difficulties.
MAC service is provided based on the individual user’s scheduled rides. A non-scheduled ride can be requested and is dependent upon availability.
Eligibility for MAC Services
Students with a long-term/chronic disability, please refer to Applying for DRC Services.
Students (with temporary disability, e.g., broken leg)
Student must register with DRC to use MAC services. The following steps are required to determine eligibility.
Student must submit the following:
- Application for Services
- Medical documentation of the qualifying condition. The documentation must be completed by an appropriate professional and include both the diagnosis and duration of the condition.
Once eligibility has been determined, the student will be contacted to schedule an appointment to meet with a disability specialist to finalize the arrangements for MAC services.

Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff are required to contact the Office of Diversity and Compliance to establish eligibility for MAC services. After the service has been approved, DRC will contact the faculty/staff member to coordinate use of MAC.

Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Students are encouraged to utilize the Bronco Express Shuttle when MAC service is not available.

Medical parking permits are available through Parking and Transportation Services. Appropriate medical documentation will be required.
