A student closed-loop servo system design project from ETE 350 Feedback Systems for Engineering Technology is shown below. The system consists of a an input position potentiometer, a gear-driven output with a sensing potentiomer, an analog control system shown on the white breadboard, and a commercially-purchased power supply.

Below is a picture of a rather "dated" commercially-produced servo system that are available in the college. Here, the original discrete electronic controller has been replaced by a breadboard of a modern controller.
