Applicants are individually evaluated for admission into the Educational Multimedia graduate program considering the following criteria:
- A GPA of 3.0 in the undergraduate work.
- Academic and/or professional experience in the related fields is desirable.
In addition to submitting a university application, copies of academic transcripts, and application fee to the Admissions Office, applicants are encouraged to submit a personal statement, resume, and three reference letters in support of their applications to the Educational Multimedia Program Assistant, Kelly Mitchell (email@example.com or call 909-869-2358).
Applicants with undergraduate GPA of 2.75 – 2.99 maybe considered conditionally for admission into the program based on their individual circumstances and academic and professional background.
Students are admitted for Fall and Winter Quarters only.
Admissions Requirements for Graduates
Students must demonstrate competency in writing skills to receive an undergraduate, graduate, or external degree from Cal Poly Pomona. Graduate students are eligible to take the GWT upon entrance to Cal Poly Pomona and the completion of 8 units. http://www.cpp.edu/~admissions/graduate/testing-requirements.shtml
Students who have passed the GWT in undergraduate status at Cal Poly Pomona will not be required to take the test again when they change to graduate status. No entrance exam such as GRE is required for admission.
International students must take the TOEFL exam and pass with a score of 525 on the paper test; or a score of 195 on the computer-based test . http://www.cpp.edu/admissions/international/
