Part-time/Temporary Lecturer Appointments
The College of Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications from qualified professionals to join our part-time lecturer pool for both undergraduate and graduate courses for the following departments: Aerospace Engineering, Chemical & Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
In addition, we are seeking applications for the part-time lecturer pool for the First Year Experience course in Engineering (EGR 100/L Engineering, Society, and You).
The College of Engineering serves approximately 5,550 undergraduate and graduate students.
- Masters degree; in exceptional cases bachelors degree plus extensive professional experience may be considered.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse student and community populations
- Ph.D. in appropriate discipline
- Industry and/or teaching experience
