The ENV Instructional Services provides reproduction services audio-visual and multimedia equipment, and lab materials and supplies to students of the college.

Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Checkout of equipment available during the following hours:
9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday.
Equipment is available for checkout to Environmental Design students for 24-hour use. Equipment loans are on a first-come basis (no advance reservations will be taken).
Before equipment is released to students, they must know the procedures for proper use and care and must sign an agreement assuming responsibility for the equipment while it is in their possession. Hourly fines are assessed for late return of equipment. Actual cost fines are assessed for repair of damages or replacement. Grades are held at the end of each quarter for students with unreturned equipment or unpaid fines.
Pickup and return of equipment is done in room 7-215A. Students needing equipment for evening use must make advance arrangements with Instructional Services in person.
Available equipment includes Minolta and Nikon 35mm cameras, lenses, tripod, and Polaroid SUN 660 camera; slide projectors, slide trays, and tape recorder; palmcorder video camera; Kodak and Nikon Digital cameras; Digital video camera; cloth tapes; calculators and polar planimeters, T squares, flip chart holder, easels, ultrasonic pen cleaner, Pierce presenter, and Lyman radius curves. Proxima projector
w/ PC or MAC computers. (computers are allowed to be checked out for students by faculty only).
Also available for checkout are transit levels with tripod, Philadelphia rods, plumbob and hand level. All these items require a faculty signature to reserve and loan out.
Also available for student checkout are laser remote/laser pointers for Digital projectors, and a Toshiba laptop computer and a Proxima portable digital projector.
The lockers in Buildings 2 and 7 are available for Environmental Design student use by registering the locker
number with Instructional Services. Requirements include: verification of current schedule of classes and BroncoID. Students must provide their own combination locks. Failure to register the locker results in removal of the lock and disposal of locker contents. Students who remove their locks during quarter break automatically forfeit their lockers. ENV students are free; other disciplines are $10.00 for the year use of locker.
The following services are available at nominal cost to students, faculty, and staff of the University. Arrangements
can be made for departmental chargebacks.
The HP Design jet is capable of bringing impressive photo quality to your digital images with a 2400 dpi max.
resolution: 11x17, 18 x24 and 24 x 36 from digital format.
Velo, spiral and wire binding services, with or without covers, are available. A variety of styles and colors are
available for covers.
Lamination is available in pocket size, I.D. Tags, 8 1/2" x 11" and 11" x 17". Prices vary.
The laser printer is located in the Computer Lab. All fees are generated in the Lab and paid for in the Instructional Services. Upon payment, receipt will be validated for verification in the Lab. Purchase print cards are available in Instructional Services.
Slides scanned at a nominal fee onto a CD.
The card-operated copiers are located in the hallway outside of Instructional Services and also on the first floor by the women’s restroom (this copier makes 11x17 copies). The two copiers located behind the counter are for department use only. The University does not permit us to make student copies on these machines. There is an additional Mita copier located at the Interim Design Center (IDC) for student use. Copy cards for student copiers may be purchased at Instructional Services. Costs for copies: 8.5 x 11 copy is $.10 each; 11 x 17 is $.20 each.
The Varitronics Poster Printer produces large, quality posters in seconds from letter and legal size documents. These posters can be printed in a variety of colors and three types of paper: thermal, fluorescent and permanent. Prices vary according to the size and type of paper requested. Sizes available: 8.5 x 11 (23.38 x 33 and 23.38 x 16.5); 8.5 x 14 (23.38 x 16.5).
The Engineering Copier located in the Instructional Services makes blackline prints. Prints may be made from a single original blueprint, and composite drawings. Copier capable of making copies onto vellum or bond. Refer to posted price list in Instructional Services for this service (there are no refunds).
Transparencies can be made for use on overhead projectors, color copy transparencies are also available.
Cutting of board charged by number of cuts. Basic set up charge is $2.00.
The heat process laminator is capable of laminating up to 24 inches of width, and is also capable of laminating onto foam core board (depending of color base medium). See posted price list.
Fome-core, chipboard, museum board, task board, acrylic sheets, basswood, illustration board, stratocore. Prismacolor markers, Prismacolor pencils, mechanical pencils, pigment liner pens, CD's, various adhesives for various mediums, oversize bond paper, drafting supplies, correction supplies.
