Insect exhibit and butterfly release: May 16, 2015 from 12pm-2pm.
Butterfly release will be in the AGRIScapes Children's Garden.
Some of the insects on display include:
- Vibrant moths and butterflies from around the world.
- Beautiful cicadas from Asia . . . many having unique wing patterns and colors. These insects are the loudest on the planet!
- A colorful array of exotic grasshoppers and katydids. Many displayed to show patterned underwings.
Beetles are the largest, most diverse group of insects. Many displayed are small but full of color, texture, and unique patterns. Make sure to look closely!
$1 Donation per person is suggested.
Proceeds go to the Cal Poly Pomona Entomology club.
Parking is in lot B. Parking passes are $3 per vehicle.
