Fee Advisory Committee

About

The Cal Poly Pomona Fee Advisory Committee is responsible for advising the campus President regarding the establishment and adjustment of all campus mandatory, user and penalty fees. This is done in accordance with Executive Order 1102 of the CSU Chancellor's Office.

Purposes and Objectives

The Fee Advisory Committee process was created by the CSU Board of Trustees to ensure that student concerns are given appropriate consideration in the establishment of new and existing university fees.

The purpose and objectives of this Fee Committee are:

  • To assist the University President in appropriate consultation with campus constituencies regarding proposed fees and allocating fee revenue.
  • To review and recommend fee funding priorities which may include appropriateness, level and duration of a fee to the President.
  • To advise the Vice President on the operations, services and programs of non instructional/non-curricular administrative units for which students are among the primary clients.
  • To develop committee operating procedures for evaluating fee requests and monitoring the fee increase process.
