Logotype Bar II
The logotype bar II was created when a bleed application of the logotype bar cannot be achieved. The logotype bar II is a combination of the university's logotype and rule elements that emulate the look and feel of the logotype bar.
The logotype bar II has the flexibility to appear in any appropriate position on a page parallel to the horizontal axis only.

A clear zone of 1x must be maintained as shown below.
The logotype bar II can appear in black, green PMS 349 or knocked out/white . The equivalent four color process or Web screen values of the colors are acceptable. The logotype bar II can also be reproduced in gold foil in special circumstances. For guidelines, check with Graphic Communications Services.
The logotype bar II should not be typeset.
- The logotype bar II should not be positioned at an angle. It must remain parallel to the horizontal axis.
- The logotype bar II should never be screened or shown in a non-approved color.
- Never distort the logotype bar II or change its proportion.
- Never crop or embellish the logotype bar II.
The logotype bar II appears in the letterhead and business cards that were introduced in Fall 2014. The following is an example of one such application, but the application itself is not a university logo.
