Urgent Medical Services
IF YOU OR A STUDENT YOU KNOW ARE EXPERIENCING A LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY (TROUBLE BREATHING, SEVERE INJURY AND CANNOT WALK, UNCONSCIOUS, ETC.), NOTIFY UNIVERSITY POLICE (909-869-3070) FOR IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE IF ON CAMPUS ( CALL 911 IF OFF CAMPUS).
Although Health Services (Bldg. 46) is not an emergency facility and is licensed for "ambulatory care" (must be able to walk in on your own accord), there may be times when an urgent medical situation arises.
For same-day illnesses or minor accidents, you may walk in to the Acute Care clinic in Bldg. 46. You will first need to check in at the front desk, but you will be seen by the Acute Care clinician on duty that day.
Visits to Acute Care are scheduled into the first available time slot upon checking in with the receptionist at the front desk. Depending on the number of patients ahead of you, there may be a delay. Patients may also be taken out of order according to the severity of the illness or injury.
Emergency Contraception (the “Morning After” pill)
is available for purchase in our Pharmacy without a doctor’s prescription. Read more at Princeton's Website details about this medication.
If you have a condition that warrants more urgent attention, call our After Hours Nurse Advice Line at (855) 272-1723 and speak to a nurse when Health Services is closed.
