CPR Classes

Winter 2018

Students, faculty, staff and visitors are welcome to attend. These classes are taught by American Heart Association instructors. Please read the description of each course and be sure to register for the appropriate course. Certification is valid for 2 years.

LOCATION: Student Health Services (Bldg. 46)

COST: $70 - can be paid on the day of the class in cash or check

Heartsaver CPR AED

This course is intended for anyone who is being required a general CPR certification or is interested in learning how to save a life. It fulfills the teacher credentialing requirements. This course covers CPR and choking for adults, children, and infants as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

This course is intended for anyone that will be working/volunteering in a clinical setting. It covers BLS for adults, children, and infants. It also covers choking, automated external defibrillator (AED), 1-rescuer, 2-rescuer, and team dynamics.
