Health Services is an ambulatory care facility (you have to be able to walk in on your own) offering visits with medical providers by appointment or through Urgent Care for non-life threatening emergencies. Treatment of illnesses, injuries or other common health-related issues (which may require X-rays, laboratory tests, and pharmacy services) are available to students. An afterhours Nurse Advice line is available by calling (855) 868-4945.
Treatment for colds, flu, headache, sore throat, cuts & bruises, abdominal pain, upper respiratory infections, well patient physical exams (excludes any lab work sent to an outside facility), Women's Health Exams, minor surgical procedures (removal of warts, cysts, suturing, etc.) and psychiatric services are offered at no cost.
Routine laboratory tests (those done in our lab) and X-rays, ordered by a clinician, are also included at no additional charge. Occasionally, your clinician may order some tests or other low-cost services that would be at your expense. Our on-site pharmacy provides prescriptions and common drug store items, sold at our cost.
Although we provide a broad range of services at our facility, all students are strongly encouraged to carry outside insurance coverage for situations or issues not covered by our services. On occasion, we may need to refer you to an outside health facility if we cannot adequately address your needs.
Non-CPP students (faculty, staff, visitors, etc.) are also entitled to limited care.
