Introducing CSU+

The University Library is proud to announce a new service called CSU+. For the first time in the history of the California State University system, all 23 campuses will be linked to one integrated catalog where users will be able to request items from any campus. Thanks to a speedy courier service, our students, faculty, and staff will be able to receive requested materials in 3 to 5 working days.

The new CSU+ service will be available starting mid-July. Library users will be able to search our catalog and then request items they need from anywhere in the CSU System.

We look forward to providing this new service for our users in hopes that you will be able to find what you need from within the CSU system. Don’t forget, we also have Document Delivery which searches the entire United States for materials that can be received in 5 to 7 working days.

The University Library will also be switching to a new Integrated Library System in order to accommodate this new service. For more information about the new Unified Library Management System, visit http://www.cpp.edu/~library/about/ulms/index.shtml

Please join us in welcoming CSU+, our new resource sharing service, which will be available starting mid-July. Please note, LINK+ will be unavailable starting May 26. To bridge the time between the end of LINK+ and the start of CSU+, Document Delivery will handle any requests for materials we do not own.

If you have any questions, please stop by the Knowledge Center, the Research Help Desk or the Circulation Desk on the second floor of the library.

We would also like to remind faculty that they also have circulation privileges with the G4 Southern CA Consortium. Our faculty can visit the G4 libraries in person to check out materials. Before visiting any of the G4 libraries, faculty must stop at the circulation desk on the second floor of the University Library for proper credentials. G4 includes libraries at the following institutions: Cal Tech, City of Hope Medical Center, Claremont Colleges, Occidental College, and Whittier College.
