Andrew Feinstein (Andy)
Dean, The Collins College of Hospitality Management
Andrew Hale Feinstein is Dean and James A. Collins Distinguished Chair at The Collins College of Hospitality Management. He holds a BS and MS in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). He received his Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University where he held an Academic Computing Fellowship.
Prior to joining the Collins College, he was senior advisor to the UNLV president, professor, associate dean for strategic initiatives and chair of the Food and Beverage Management Department. Andy has published more than 30 refereed journal articles and presented at dozens of meetings and conferences. Areas of focus have included instructional systems, simulation modeling and technology in the foodservice industry. He is the Secretary of the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education and the past president of the Association of Business Simulation and Experimental Learning. Andy has also co-authored two textbooks with multiple editions about hospitality purchasing, one of which is the most widely used book of its kind, being utilized at more than 250 colleges and universities worldwide.
