One of the leaders at the helm of Majestic Realty, Kent Valley has seen the City of Industry and the Inland Valley expand magnificently during the past three decades. He is senior vice president of the family-owned industry leader in developing quality real estate projects.
Operated since 1948, Majestic Realty is headquartered in Los Angeles County with regional offices in four states and assets of more than $1 billion. As a senior development partner, Valley is responsible for ownership representation and asset management. From site development, leasing and project supervision to completion, Valley has been responsible for numerous and significant Majestic projects in his more than 35 years with the firm. He also serves on the board of directors for the Majestic Realty-Industry Manufacturers Council.
Through NDC membership, Valley is interested in
being involved with focus groups to find innovative
solutions for a number of university challenges. He
has a special interest in the logistics program in the College of Business Administration. He also supports the Troops to College program and is interested in enhancing it. His own military service followed his graduation from the University of Idaho; he served in the United States Marine Corp where he rose to the rank of captain.
Valley serves his community through his 25-year presidency of the Bob Rope Cancer Foundation. (Rope was the first city manager of the newly incorporated City of Industry in the 1950s.) In addition to his service with the NDC, Valley is a member of Cal Poly Pomona’s University Educational Trust. He and his wife, Ginni, have two children, Kyle and Kelsey.
