Student Assistants are university employees and are covered under the same policies and regulations as regular staff. In addition to addressing these policies and regulations, the Leading Student Assistants workshop will provide guidance on what you can (and can’t) do as a Lead, and which issues to escalate to a HEERA manager. The workshop will examine the skills for effectively leading students assistants. Also covered will be communication, feedback, setting expectations/goals, with application in case studies.
