Would you like to be entertained, challenged, and educated during your lunch hour?  If so, bring your own lunch and join us in viewing some new and classic training videos.  After watching the video, those who are interested may choose to participate in a discussion. 

We’ll start at 12:05 and conclude by 12:55.



Whether you’re a beginning scrap booker, or have been at it for years, this class will provide a little something for everyone.  In addition to learning techniques for creating beautiful keepsakes, you will discover:

  • Materials required (What would you absolutely need if you only had $50 to get started?)
  • How to organize photos
  • where to find inspiration (e.g Memorabilia, internet sources)
  • Ideas for storing your growing collection of supplies
  • How scrapbooking supplies can be used to make other keepsakes such as greeting cards or invitations

So, bring your creativity and your lunch, as it is sure to be a fun and inspiring hour!

Identity Theft

Identity theft is the top consumer fraud complaint in America. Law enforcement experts’ project up to one million people will become victims of identity theft this year. What can you do to prevent becoming a victim?
The power is in education. By being aware of how criminals obtain confidential and financial information you can protect yourself from falling victim. Attend this informative workshop on Identity Theft conducted by Joy Tafarella, vice president of Cal Poly Federal Credit Union. Joy will share:

  • How to protect your financial and personal information
  • Protecting yourself on the internet
  • What types of fraud occur
  • Warning signs of identity theft – Are you a victim?
  • What to do if your identity is stolen
