Freshman Parent and Family Program
Parents and family members play an important role in student success at Cal Poly Pomona. The Parent/Family/Guest Orientation is an optional one-day program that provides the necessary tools and information needed to support student success. This program is separate from the student program and is designed specifically for parents and family members.
Students can register their guest when they register for Orientation on BroncoDirect. Then, at the start of Orientation, guests will check in with your student in front of Encinitas Lawn (Bldg. 20).
$50 per person above the age of 10 and you must register in advance. Cost includes meals and materials.

Freshmen Parents, Family and Guests will attend on Day One of your student’s Freshmen 3-day/2-night Orientation program.
Freshmen Parents Family and Guests will begin check-in at 10am on the first day of your student's Orientation and the program will end by 6pm that same day.
Programa de Español
La oficina de Orientación ofrece dos programas en español para padres, familiares, y invitados de estudiantes de primer año. Los dias que se ofreceran estos programas en español seran el 29 de junio y el 18 de agosto. Padres, familiares y invitados que esten interesados en asistir una sesión en español deben de animar a sus estudiantes para inscribirse en los programas correspondientes.
