Club and Organization Registration

Click here to register for the Bronco Club and Organization Registration Conference on myBAR.

** All clubs and organizations will be approved AFTER July 1, 2015 (the start of the 2015-2016 fiscal year). If you are the club's primary contact on myBAR, please make sure to check your myBAR messages continually over the summer for updates on your club registration application. **

New Club Registration

New Club Registration will be open for the 2015-2016 academic year.  In addition to completing all the requirements needed for the Bronco Club and Organization Registration Conference, new clubs will also need to attend and complete the requirements related to the New Club Workshop.

A representative of a potential New Club Executive Board (preferably the President) must attend a New Club Workshop. The remaining workshop days include:

  • May 21, 2015: 2pm-3pm, Centaurus
  • June 4, 2015: 12pm-1pm, Andromeda Suite
  • June 18, 2015: 8am-9am, Centaurus
  • June 30, 2015: 5pm-6pm, Centaurus
  • July 16, 2015: 9am-10am, England Evans
  • July 23, 2015: 2pm-3pm, England Evans
  • July 30, 2015: 12pm-1pm, England Evans
  • August 4, 2015: 8am-9am, Orion AB

The registration process will be discussed during the New Club Workshop and the Bronco Club and Organization Registration Conference. Although we highly suggest new clubs wait until after attending a New Club Workshop or Registration Conference to start the process, all potential new club applications are available on myBAR under the "Organizations" page.

The deadline for all clubs and organizations (continuing and new) will be September 1, 2015.  There will be an extension deadline, but you will not receive any club/organization privileges (e.g. funding, ability to schedule on-campus space, etc.) until it is fully registered.  Please note that it may take 4-6 weeks for any club to be fully reviewed after the myBAR application has been completed online. New clubs will need to wait until the 2015-2016 ASI Attorney General is appointed to have their applications reviewed.  More information will be covered in the New Club Workshop.

Continuing Club Registration

Continuing Club Registration for the 2015-2016 academic year is currently open. The due date for Continuing Club Registration will be September 1, 2015.  All requirements must be met and your myBAR application must be submitted by 11:59pm on September 1, 2015.

The registration process will be discussed during the Bronco Club and Organization Registration Conference. Once a member from your organization registers for the Bronco Club and Organization Conference, we will activate your registration page. Please allow for 3-5 business days for us to activate your myBAR page.

COUNCILS should be attending the Council Transition Retreat on June 15, 2015. For more information, please see your 2014-2015 Senator and President.

All conferences will be held between 9:00am - 5:00pm.  Although we encourage attendance at just one conference, we understand that this may not necessarily be feasible.  You may attend as many conferences as needed to complete the required workshops.  The due date for registration is September 1, 2015. The remaining conference dates include:

  • Thursday, June 25, 2015
  • Monday, July 20, 2015
  • Tuesday, August 11, 2015
  • Wednesday, August 26, 2015

We will hold two make-up conferences in Fall 2015. We strongly encourage students to attend the summer conferences since the fall conferences may conflict with class. You are responsible for working with each of your professors to discuss work missed and make appropriate arrangements to make up the work. Also, you will not receive any club/organization privileges (e.g. funding, ability to schedule on-campus space, etc.) until it is fully registered. It may take 4-6 weeks after completing your myBAR application to approve your club/organization.

Make-up conference days include:

  • Friday, October 16, 2015
  • Friday, November 13, 2015

The purpose of the conference is to give you all the information that you will need to successfully run your club/organization.  We will offer all of the required workshops that need to be completed in order for your club/organization to be registered at each conference.  Plus we will offer free lunch!

Presidents, Treasurers, Schedulers, and the Risk Managers (Greek organizations only) are required to attend, but all members of your executive board are welcome. Registration is required. **Please note that you may NOT have another executive board member attend in your place if you are the President, Treasurer, or Scheduler.  Make arrangements as soon as possible to avoid missing the registration deadline.

Officers will need to register for the Bronco Club and Organization Conference to ensure the club/organization is able to register for the 2015-2016 school year. Presidents should plan to attend the conference from 9am-5pm; Schedulers should plan to attend the conference from 10am-5pm; and Treasurers should plan to attend the conference from 11am-5pm.

Workshops will include:

  • President-specific workshops (e.g. policies, how to register your organization, myBAR info, etc.)
  • Scheduler-specific workshops (e.g. how to schedule spaces, policies, etc.)
  • Treasurer-specific workshops (e.g. how to create a budget request, how to access ASI funds, travel policies, etc.)
  • Risk management
  • How to program / event planning info
  • Service learning
  • Title IX requirements
  • Organization management
