Southern California Tasting & Auction

May 2 — Cal Poly Pomona will host its third annual Southern California Tasting & Auction from 1-4 p.m. in the picturesque Rose Garden and Aratani Japanese Garden. The event features a wide selection of wines, enticing cuisine samples from the region’s most popular restaurants, music and entertainment. Shakespeare’s Macbeth

May 7-16 — Ruthless ambition for the throne causes bloody repercussions in William Shakespeare’s dark tragedy “Macbeth,” staged in the University Theatre. (909) 869-3800.

Tractor & Car Show

May 8 —The annual Tractor & Car Show features a broad range of family-friendly activities from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Farm Store at Kellogg Ranch. Activities include a strawberry-picking patch, guacamole contest, face painting, tractor and horse rides, petting zoo, food and entertainment. (909) 869-3637.

Alumni Networking

May 11 & 26 — Tap into Cal Poly Pomona’s powerful alumni network by attending the College of Business Administration’s Inside Track. The free networking sessions attract a diverse group of professionals each month. The next Inland Empire reception is from 5-7 p.m. on May 11 at El Torito, 12369 Foothill Blvd. in Rancho Cucamonga. Seussical the Musical

May 13-15 — The Music Theatre Workshop presents “Seussical the Musical,” based on Dr. Seuss’ books, in the Music Recital Hall. (909) 869-3548.

Student Art Exhibits

May 18-June 12 — The W. Keith and Janet Kellogg University Art Gallery will feature two student shows. The Senior Show includes work by the art department’s graduating fine art majors. The juried exhibit 2D/3D showcases work by both fine arts and graphic design majors. (909) 869-4302.

Open University Summer Session

Beginning June 21 — Improve your skills, update your knowledge or satisfy your curiosity. The community is invited to take academic credit courses through the College of the Extended University without formal admission into a program. Cal Poly Pomona will provide a broad range of classes through a 10-week session beginning June 21 or two five-week sessions beginning June 21 and July 28.

Summer Camps

Make this summer memorable by enrolling your children in the university’s summer
