Daniel Wood has served the nonprofit sector for 27 years as a planned giving specialist. He has served healthcare, higher educational, research and social service organizations.
Mr. Wood has specialized in the communicating the advantages of gifting non- cash assets outright, into charitable trusts to meet family income and estate goals. For more than 20 years he has worked closely with two Los Angeles, CA legal firms in planning and structuring trust instruments to comply with IRS regulations and desired client financial outcomes. For high net worth supporters of Cal Poly Pomona Mr. Wood is providing technical, planning and education presentations of the charitable lead trust to meet family intergenerational gifting goals while providing critical support for Cal Poly Pomona
Mr. Wood earned his BA in Social Work at Asbury College, post graduate work and the educational requirements to be ordained in the Salvation Army.
