Crime Prevention and Safety Programs
Police officers and professional staff are available to provide presentations on a wide range of crime prevention and safety related topics for classroom, staff meetings, residence hall programs, etc. Some popular topics include: Safe Party, Alcohol Awareness and Simulation (Beer Goggles), Identity Theft, Theft Prevention, Office Safety and Security, Dealing with Difficult People, etc.
Some special events on campus may require police officer staffing, such as dances, concerts, events with large and/or off campus attendees, and events where alcohol is served. University Police assist in logistics, planning and coordination.
