Educational Talent Search Employment Opportunities
ETS & the Polytechnic Approach
Educational Talent Search (ETS) is dedicated to the Cal Poly Pomona’s polytechnic spirit of learning by doing, and service to the surrounding communities. Cal Poly Pomona students (both undergraduate and graduate) are hired during the academic year as tutors/peer advisors for the after school tutoring sessions, workshop facilitators, and peer advisors providing academic advising. During the summer, undergraduate students are hired as instructional aides and serve as peer mentors for the summer RASSLE program participants. Graduate students and Cal Poly professors are hired as summer RASSLE instructors as well. Volunteer, leadership, and/or community service opportunities are available throughout the academic year and summer months for Cal Poly Pomona students desiring service hours for clubs, fraternities/sororities, or professional organizations. Interested Cal Poly students, or faculty/staff should contact the project director for any of the above opportunities.
