Welcome to the Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR), hosted this year by Cal Poly Pomona, on Staurday, November 22, 2008. Growing Student Success Across Discplines. Graphic of orange tree with photos of student activities on each orange.

SCCUR spotlights multidisciplinary faculty-mentored undergraduate research and creative achievement from many types of institutions in the Southern California region and fosters appreciation of the important role these activities play as an integral component of undergraduate education.

Through its annual conference, SCCUR celebrates the research, scholarship, and creative activities carried out by undergraduate students. Students in all disciplines-the arts, humanities, sciences, and social science-present their faculty-mentored projects to audiences of peers, faculty and administrators through performance, oral and poster presentations, or displays.
