Ted Yoo

Ted Yoo's graph We study percolation theory in the computation lab under the supervision of Dr. Alex Small. Percolation is one of the simplest phase transitions that can be studied in graph theory, yet is not well understood. The ultimate goal of our research is to apply percolation theory into other fields such as imaging. Our work is both experimental and theoretical, and have found results that have been published. Working in Dr. Small's lab has given both of us the opportunity to work on new problems. Every day is a learning experience, and we are expected to be able to apply all of our physics knowledge into solving the problems that arise in our research. We have both expanded greatly as scientists, and are grateful for the opportunity to be researchers.
