Ways to Support

SCSF was founded in 2005 to provide students the opportunity to work with professional actors and to perform Shakespeare. We have grown tremendously through the years with the support of the Pomona community and the university.

Through gifts large and small, we can touch the lives of current and future students, promote research, support programs and help the greater community.

We are committed to our fundraising events and also to expanding our audience of supporters.

SCSF does a variety of fundraising events.  This coming June 2016, we will be performing Shakespeare Abridged for 2 nights in June in the Studio Theatre.  Dates and times will be announced.  Core Company members: Robert Shields, William Dinwiddie, and Nate Akstin-Johnson will be performing in this hilarious production.  In addition, we will be performing our Annual Sonnet Fundraiser at the Old Stables in June, as well.  More information coming for our annual Shakespeare Sonnet Festival which will take place in June, 2016.

Students and Faculty will participate in the readings of Sonnets.

The above events raise money for the Shakespeare Festival, which Professor Linda Bisesti founded 12 years ago to give students an opportunity to work with and perform alongside professional actors.
