Academic Senate Elections

2015-16 ACADEMIC SENATE SEATS – The Academic Senate is recruiting for 2015-16 Academic Senate seats.  Seats in the colleges listed below are now at-large seats.  ALL CONSTITUENTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ELECTION.  All candidates must fill out an Election Eligibility form and return it to the Academic Senate Office by Friday, March 13, 2015 at noon.

ELECTION ELIGIBILITY FORM

COLLEGE OF SCIENCE 2015-16 ACADEMIC SENATE SEATS -- The College of Science has three  Academic Senate seats for the 2015 election cycle.  Two seats have terms that will  run through June 2018 and one seat has a term that expires in June 2016. If you wish to run for the Academic Senate, you must fill the attached Election Eligibility Form and return it to the Academic Senate Office by Friday, March 13, 2015 at noon.

University Service Opportunities

Provost Awards Selection Committee - The Academic Senate is recruiting volunteers to serve on the established Provost’s Awards Selection Committee. The following constituencies need representatives -- Collins (2016), Engineering (2016), ENV (2015) and Related Areas (2015).  The committee will meet three times—twice in March and once in April.  The scheduled will be based on the committee member’s availability. Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@cpp.edu  DEADLINE UNTIL FILLED (January 26, 2015)

MPP Review Committees

MPP REVIEW COMMITTEE – JOHN MCGUTHRY, VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER --  –One full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members is needed for the MPP Review Committee of John McGuthry, Vice President and Chief Information Officer. The Committee will begin its work this fall and will continue into winter and spring. Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@cpp.edu DEADLINE --UNTIL FILLED (Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at noon)

 

MPP REVIEW  COMMITTEE – SHARON HILLES, DEAN, CLASS – Four full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members are needed for the MPP Review Committee of Dr. Sharon Hilles, Dean College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences.   The Committee will begin its work this fall and will continue into winter and spring.  Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@cpp.edu DEADLINE - UNTIL FILLED

 

MPP REVIEW COMMITTEE – SHANTHI SRINIVAS, AVP FOR ACADEMIC PLANNING, POLICY AND FACULTY AFFAIRS – Two full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members are needed for the MPP Review Committee of Dr. Shanthi Srinivas, AVP For Academic Planning, Policy and Faculty Affairs.    The Committee will begin its work this fall and will continue into winter and spring .  Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@cpp.edu DEADLINE - UNTIL FILLED

 

Search Committees

SEARCH COMMITTEE –PROVOST AND ACADEMIC VICE PRESIDENT -- Six full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members are needed for the Search Committee for the Provost and Academic Vice President.   This search is a fast track search.   It is anticipated that an appointment will be made by the end of Spring Quarter 2015.  Details for the first meeting will be provided by once the committee is formed. Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@cpp.eduTuesday, March 3, 2015 at 5 p.m.

 

SEARCH COMMITTEE –CHIEF OF STAFF -- One full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty member is needed for the Search Committee for the Chief of Staff.  This search is a fast track search.   It is anticipated that an appointment will be made by the end of Spring Quarter 2015. Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@cpp.eduWednesday, March 11, 2015 at noon.


SEARCH COMMITTEE –VICE PRESIDENT FOR UNIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT -- –One full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty member is needed for the Search Committee for the Vice President for University Advancement. The first committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 12, 2015.   The university would like to make an appointment before the end of spring quarter 2015.
