Paula Rohrenbacher

Fall 2015

I am nominating:Paula Rohrenbacher
Years of Service at Cal Poly: 3
Department: Financial Aid
Position: Financial Aid Counselor
Why are you nominating this person? Why do you think he/she deserves the award?
Paula started working in Financial Aid as a processor and quickly learned all aspects of her position. Her dedication,
desire to learn and rapid professional growth quickly allowed her to attain a counselor position. As a current Financial
Aid counselor she helps administer the Federal Pell Grant program. Paula stepped up to the plate when a co worker was out
and oversees this program on her own. In addition to this and her regular responsibilities, Paula was instrumental in the set-up,
training, testing and implementation of the new OnBase imaging and work flow tool. She continues to grow in her position and
inspire those around her, which is why I feel she is deserving of the STAR award

In what way(s) does this person enhance or contribute to the Cal Poly Pomona campus community?
Paula graduated from Cal Poly in 2009 with a degree in Music. Right after graduation she started working in Parking and Transportations
Services and later transferred to the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
