Why are you nominating this person? Why do you think he/she deserves the award?
Andrea worked as a Peer Health Educator for a couple years before graduating and being hired as a professional Health Educator. Her ìcan-doî attitude

Because of Andreaís background and training with other off-campus agencies upon her graduation, she was able to ìhit the ground runningî and knew instinctively what needed to be done. She has a wealth of experience in counseling students and other adults, from alcohol & other drugs to pregnancy and insurance coverage. In just the past year she has worked numerous nights and weekends to represent our department at various outreach events and educational presentations. Her positive attitude and energy have really made a positive difference in our department, not to mention her knowledge and skills in managing social media.Having been a former student, she is able to look at challenges and find solutions from many perspectives.
She is very competent in her job as a health educator, alcohol and substance abuse counselor, and general staff member.
