Navigating through college and/or university policies and procedures can be an overwhelming process. The Bronco Advising Center at Cal Poly Pomona assists students in completing a variety of tasks and processes related to university enrollment. At the BAC, students can:

General Information and Navigation

  • Turn in most forms and paperwork for any of the enrollment services offices (see list of forms)
  • Get clarification on any requirements or missing documents listed on your BroncoDirect account
  • Access online self-services such as the Schedule Builder
  • Get information on how to remove holds that may be preventing you from registering from classes
  • Obtain up-to-date information about important dates and deadlines
  • Learn how to access and maximize your MyCPP portal and BroncoDirect account

Admissions

  • Learn how to schedule a campus tour and obtain a campus map
  • Receive general information about CSU eligibility requirements, deadlines to apply, and programs offered at Cal Poly Pomona
  • Get updates on outstanding To Do List items during the admission process
  • Learn how to obtain your Bronco Access Card (student photo identification)

Orientation

  • Receive information about the new student and family orientation program and how to register
  • Confirm your new student and family orientation registration
  • Register your parent or family member for the new student orientation program

Cashiering

  • Ask questions about billing statement
  • Learn how to sign up for direct deposit

Financial Aid

  • Get information about applying for financial aid and scholarships
  • Ask questions about your financial aid package and file
  • Get answers to frequently asked questions about loans, loan deferments, fees, etc.
  • Obtain information and guidance about the CA DREAM Act & FAFSA

Registrar

  • Request and/or pick up a transcript
  • Request change of major or minor
  • Request a duplicate diploma
  • Obtain answers about graduation application requirements
  • Learn about and complete the satisfactory academic progress (SAP) appeal process
  • Submit your AP scores for course credit
