Financial Aid 2017
Summer financial aid is available for eligible continuing Cal Poly Pomona students and students admitted for fall. Grant and loan funds will be awarded based on eligibility, enrollment status, amount of financial need and priority will be given to undergraduate students who can complete their degree requirements during the summer quarter. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships will review files for summer financial aid beginning in May. Check the Financial Aid website for the qualifications for each of the grant and loan programs offered.

Subsidized and Unsubsidized Student Loans for Summer
Direct Loans will be offered to students this summer who are enrolled at least 1/2 time which is 6 units for undergraduate and credential students or 4 units for graduate students. Both the subsidized and unsubsidized loans (for students who do not demonstrate financial need) will be available for students who have not reached the maximum borrowing limits.
Application Process for Summer 2017 Financial Aid
- Current Cal Poly Pomona students: If you qualify for financial aid you should submit the Summer Request Form. Eligibility is based on the 2016-17 FAFSA application.
If you are attending the first 5-week session or the 10-week session, you should submit the Summer Request form as soon as possible, but no later than June 30, 2017.
If you are attending the second 5-week summer session, you should submit the Summer Request Form as soon as possible, but no later than August 31, 2017.
- Entering students: You must complete a 2016-17 FAFSA application and Summer Request Form in order to be considered for summer financial aid. You should submit the Summer Request Form as soon as possible, but no later than June 30, 2017.
