** May 6th is the last date to take the EPT/ELM Exam for Freshman Fall Enrollment 2017. **

The EPT/ELM at Cal Poly Pomona will be held in Building 5.

All entering CSU undergraduates admitted to a CSU campus are required to take the English Placement Test (EPT) and/or Entry Level Mathematics Test (ELM), unless exempt.

The EPT and ELM are not admission tests. These placement tests will enable your CSU campus to find out whether you need remedial courses in reading/writing or mathematics before undertaking college level work requiring these fundamental skills. This is why you must take the EPT/ELM before enrollment in the CSU.
