AB540 Requirements

• Must have attended a California high school for three or more full academic years (between grades 9 through 12, inclusive and non-consecutive)
• Must have or will graduate from a California high school, have attained a GED, or received a passing mark on the California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE)
• Must register or be currently enrolled in California State University, Fullerton (how to fill out the Cal State Application with no Social Security Number instructions and slide sample)
• Must file or will file an Affidavit stating that the filer will apply for legal residency as soon as possible (how to fill out the Affidavit Visual Slide)
• Must not hold a valid non-immigrant visa (F, J, H, L, A, E, ect.)^*
